Fudge-C is the C implementation of the Fudge message encoding specification.
The Fudge-C project is actually hosted on GitHub, so the project page here is really just a stub. News of version updates and copies of packaged project files will be posted here, but for up to date information the Fudge-C repository should be used.
The initial release of GarminTracksToKML is now available for download. This is a simple Cocoa application that converts GPS tracks, loaded from a GPX file or imported from a Garmin GPS device, in to nicely styled KML. The KML output can then be viewed in applications like Google Earth.
More details are available on the project page.
My iPhone pilot's aid WhizWheel is now available for download; in source form from this site and as a free binary from the AppStore. Those with an iPhone Developer's License can download and build the code themselves using the instructions on the project page.
To support the only remaining Freshment feed (the RSS links were removed during the latest redesign), the RDFParser now supports Atom feed files. Files in the new feed format can be used in exactly the same way as the older RSS/RDF files, all the changes to the parser are internal. See the project page for more details.
A couple more photo albums have been added to the site; as well as a change to the album display code that hides all but the five most recent by default. Clicking on the link at the bottom of the album box will toggle between the truncated display and seeing all available albums.
A new RDFParser version has been released. This provides better Unicode support and works around a (fairly major) deficiency in the PHP4 XML parser. More information is available on the project page.
A new version of BIRT has been released. Version 2.1.0 contains a new piece of functionality and a number of bug fixes.
As always, the project page contains a more details.
As the original BIRT codebase was showing its age and the Qt3 library on which it was based is approaching end of live, the whole thing has been rewritten to use Qt4.
There are more details on the project page but the new version has a clean UI, more features and is now available as a binary package for OS X and Windows (the source code is still available for Unix/X11 users).
In an attempt to keep everything up to date I've combined my various websites in to one easy to maintain lump of online stuff.
The code used to generate what you're seeing is still new, so don't be surprised if it looks or behaves strangely; this is doubly true if you're using IE as I don't have a Window's machine with which to test.
Assorted Scripts - things that don't warrant a whole project but might be useful to someone.
